1.General Introduction
ABB 266ART absolute pressure transmitter combines with S26 direct or remote seal for gauge pressure measurement, measure range from 0.07Kpa abs to 10Mpa, maximum proof pressure is up to 30Mpa and maximum turn down ratio up to 60:1, standard accuracy is 0.04%, meets SIL2,SIL3 safety applications as per IEC 61508 standard.
Depending on actual application, 266ART allows a absolute pressure measurement using one remote seal directly mounted with a short capillary connecting the integral seal to the transmitter sensor. The S26 Series Seal System is a protective device used to isolate 266ART absolute pressure transmitter from the process fluid, provides a flexible diaphragm seal between the process fluid and a liquid filled capillary tube connected to the body of the transmitter. The diaphragm isolates the process fluid while the filled capillary tube hydraulically transmits the process pressure to the transmitter sensor. The capillary of remote seal is corrosion-resistant with robust construction in stainless steel with spiral armor protection, also PVC jacket; PVC protection is always recommended except for high temperature application, where stainless steel armor is suggested. The all welded construction assures reliable operation over the widest range of operating temperature and under vacuum conditions.
