Maintenance Method of Differential Pressure Transmitter

Differential pressure transmitter is widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industries. This product is mainly used to measure the differential pressure, pressure and negative pressure of liquid, gas and steam. It can also measure the liquid level of open or pressurized container. With throttling device, it can measure the flow of liquid, gas or steam. The measured parameters can be converted into DC signal output of 4-20 mA and transmitted to secondary instrument or regulating unit for detection or control.

Maintenance method of differential pressure transmitter:

1. Avoid the accumulation of garbage in the catheter and fight with the sensor against the decaying or overheated medium.

2. When measuring gas pressure, the tap should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the sensor should be installed at the top of the process pipeline so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipeline.

3. When measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure tap should be opened on the front of the process pipeline to prevent the accumulation of slag.

4. The pressure guide pipe should be installed in the place where the temperature is stable.

5. When measuring the liquid pressure, the position of the sensor should prevent the impact of the liquid (water hammer scene), so as to avoid the damage of the sensor under overpressure.

6. When freezing occurs in summer, the sensor installed outdoors must adopt the method of anti-freezing to prevent the liquid in the pressure inlet from shrinking due to the volume of freezing and causing the loss of the sensor.

7. When wiring, the cable should pass through the waterproof discussion or winding pipe and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater from leaking into the transmitter shell through the cable.

8. When measuring steam or other cryogenic medium, a condenser such as a buffer tube (coil) should be added, so that the task temperature of the sensor should not exceed the limit.
