What are the requirements for selecting pressure point for EJA differential pressure transmitter
Dec 20, 2018

The selection of pressure points for EJA differential pressure transmitters should comply with the following requirements:

1. When measuring the pressure of turbid media with dust, solid particles or sediments on the vertical process pipeline, the source parts should be inclined upward, and the angle between the source parts and the horizontal lines should be greater than 30 degrees. It is advisable to install downstream beams at sharp angles in horizontal process pipelines.

2. EJA differential pressure transmitter should be installed in a well-lit location, easy to operate and maintain. It is not suitable to install in vibration, humidity, high temperature, corrosive and strong magnetic field interference parts.

3. EJA differential pressure transmitter should be installed as close as possible to the source parts. The installation height of the transmitter for measuring low pressure should be in accordance with the pressure point, especially for measuring liquid and condensable gas media.

4. When measuring the pressure of gas medium, the installation position of transmitter should be higher than the pressure-taking point; when measuring the pressure of liquid or steam, the installation position of EJA differential pressure transmitter should be lower than the pressure-taking point. The purpose is to reduce additional facilities for exhaust and drainage.

5. When measuring the gas pressure, the pressure-taking point should be in the upper half of the process pipeline.

6. When measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure-taking point should be in the range of 0-45 degree angle between the lower half of the process pipeline and the horizontal central line of the process pipeline.

7. When measuring steam pressure, the pressure point is taken in the range of 0-45 degree angle between the upper half of the process pipeline and the lower half of the process pipeline and the horizontal center line of the process pipeline.

8. The installation position of pressure source components should be selected in the stable section of process medium flow beam.

9. When the pressure source component and the temperature source component are in the same pipeline, the pressure source component shall be installed on the upstream side of the temperature source component.

The end of the pressure source component shall not exceed the inner wall of the process equipment and the process pipeline.
