1. General Introduction
SRD991 valve positioner is Intrinsic Safety EEx ia version type work with pneumatic control valve actuators and compatible for any control systems. It is available with different communication protocols, includes analog setpoint (4 to 20 mA), HART, Profibus and FOUNDATION fieldbus. All the diagnostics features can be easily configured and displayed by the Positioner DTM (Valve Monitor). Moreover, the Positioner DTM enables editing a complete “health” report of the valve with all configuration and diagnostics data. The SRD991 also has the capability to control a Partial Stroke Test (PST) that offers operators a tool to identify the trouble-proof function of ESD(Emergency Shut Down) valves.
SRD991 valve positioner also supports stroke range 8 to 260 mm (0.3 to 10.2 in), angle range up to 95°, Supply air pressure up to 6 bar (90 psig), both single or double acting available. It's suitable for liner and rotary actuators with Self-diagnostic, status and diagnostic messages and suitable for safety applications up to SIL 3. Moreover, Additional Inputs/outputs are optional, including:2 binary outputs (limits); Position feedback 4 to 20mA, 1 Alarm output; 2 binary inputs; Built-in independent inductive limit switches(2- 3-wire) or micro switches; sensors for supply air pressure and output pressure; binary Inputs/Outputs dedicated to SIS logic solvers and etc.
